Any automotive store is likely to have grill mesh dude .. Supercheap autobahn etc etc

it's fine, but you may want to shave off those clips as it looks quite messy.

get the original and outline it on cardboard, then try fitting the cardboard into the gap (just push it through the front) then keep trimmig it till the fit is perfect the lay the cardboard over the mesh and cut the mesh out to the same shape.

might be good to cover the edges in maskin tape to avoid scratching the paint on a test fit.

after u have done a test fit and its all good use some black silicone on the front bumper so u can push the mesh up against it and hope it stays on, if u leave the silicon to sit abt 5-10mins it will harden up enough to stick abit better.

yeah its all good..
if you want to do a cleaner job..

the get mesh then press it onto the original grill, including the tabs which clip into the bumper..
then trim the excess off however dont trim the tab bit

then when its all done just press the mesh tabs into where the holes are in the bumper:)

i would paint the tabs bit black though so its not visible..

with all that efford to "DIY" a grill..

just get a fibre glass thing off ebay

yeah man, i tried doing it too, just didnt work out for me. maybe it will for you, but at the end of the day do it properly and youll be more than happy with the results - get a new grille! j's racing or mugen or something :)

yeh
the jays racing one is kinda expensive though and look almost same as original,
the one in the link above is kinda odd tho because of the shape it takes, like its dragging the face down :S

go on ausjazz the guy that does them spoon duckbill copies does some J's racing replicas in a Carbon Fiber finish, so u dont have to paint it :D

hehe... i've done the same, looks tough on a black one :) thinking, i'm either gunna dremel away the guts, and attach the black mesh... the honey comb sticks out too far

or i'm just going to clean it up and give it a blast of matt black. mine's very faded, and the reason why i bothered.

BTW, mesh @ autobarn is $15 ATM

I suggest spraying with a few coats of clear once moulded as i have found they start to rust/brown after about 6 months from weather.

that to me looks like a front bar that has a grille inbuilt, instead of separate

i always think the USDM fits front bumper sticks out a tad more than the AUDM ones >=/, with that being said i'm reasonably sure he just cut off the tabs, filed it down and touched it up with paint
