Question: Is there any wiring which will need to be added, swapped or shifted to another pin out section after swapping my D16Y4 driven EK Into a B16A2 driven EK
The run down: EK Gli 99-00 D16Y4 stock chassis harness
Engine from an EM1 99-00 B16A2
Wiring harness fitted to EM1's B16A2 from an EK4 B16 motor
The Issue: Cold start up I am Experiencing a raise in Revolutions (3,500) within the engine once the clutch is engaged (this get more dramatic when the engine temp warms up), slowly decreases to a steady idle at (1,500) Vtec does not engage, no CEL appear.
Second start up once the engine is Warm, Vtec engages around 5,500 rpm, clutch engaged revs raise to 1,500 then slowly decrease to 1,100 and performs a steady idle at 1,100 (Recently noticed the revs dip to 900 RPM once headlight is turned on then raise to 1,100 for the steady idle.No CEL light appear.
