Ey all just finished up my DIY intake for my ef crx with b series motor..
$100 budget
Parts used:
SCA 90degree silicon pipe
Calibre pod filter
3x hose clamps
Bit of pipe from old intake box :)

Before
19754
After
19755
Proof of budget discipline
19756

After effects:
Vtec switch way more louder
Induction sound ****en screams
Little better throttle response

All this was done at home with my mate in only 30 min. :)

Most importantly we had fun. :)

Aren't no name intakes like less then $100 shipped from the states now days?

I'd say PVC piping from bunnings is more bang for buck

pvc piping and 3A racing filter will get you a CAI well under $100

Made me a EG 3'' CAI for $15. $10 for new filter. All in all, $25 spent. Aluminium pipe FTW!
