Brake system light [Archive]

Hi guys

just need some help. i recently upgraded my eg3 to CTR brakes. it was fine for about 1 month or two ~ now when i drive in first gear above about 4000 rpm, the brake system light comes on for a second and when i change gear, it goes away. it is not always constant either. any ideas on what it could be?

had this happen to me on my old DA9. turned out to be the pads on the back were worn out.

dunno if this is your case as u mentioned u just changed it, but it cant hurt to have a look

the brake fluid could be low causeing the light to come on

Brake light has nothing to do with pads. Maybe you fixed the light when you bled the brakes after the pad change.

the brake fluid could be low causeing the light to come on
correct. for/aft movement of changing gears causes low fluid light to come on.
