Problem with my ITR (part 2)

As most of you know I have tappets problems but ontop of that I have realised I have another problem. When I rev my car theres another ticking tapping scratching ratting sound comming from the engine. To be specific from the cam gear side of the engine. Anyone any ideas? I also notice on the free way soon as i pass 3.5rpms there a rattling type of noise? Think my car is goin to blow up.

Is the funny ticking scratching sound coming from your distributor?

Where is the 3.5rpm+ noise coming from? Under the car? Could be loose pebbles/gravel in your cat undershield or something along similar lines, ie. somewhere in your exhaust...

Good chance this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had a cylinder head off????????
One of the screws around the timing belt could be loose.
Take your timimg belt cover off and check it out.
Don't wait too long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could be a very expensive fix, if the t/b breaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :!:

Try spraying some dry lube over the belts and see if the ticking continues....

i have some sort of noise at exactly 3500rpm, its more of a wobble noise
but yeh, should record it and put it online :S
