Hey Fellas, I've lurking around here for ages learning lots about Hondas and meanwhile been personalising my DC5. Here's a brief history in pics of what's been going down;) My subtle mod list so far:

-MeisterR Zeta coilovers
-JDM ITR 22mm Rear Sway Bar
-Acura RSX-s leather steering wheel
-DC5s rims
-DC5r rear boot lip
-Window tints
-JDM DC2 '96 ITR 5speed shift knob
-DC5s leather interior swap
-DC5r front lip
-DC5r fog light covers
-JDM clear side indicators
-Usual stereo upgrades

On the way:

-Type-R rear lip
-Type-S or R sideskirts
-JDM side window visors

Here she is bone stock at the dealership

Within the first week I had already obtained some Type S rims (always loved these rims ever since the Type S came out). Also purchased some Pro Kits too.. although the drop wasn't quite doing it for me

Wasn't too long after the pro kits that I realised coilovers are the only solution. Researched the most comfortable coilovers for the DC5 and my homework led me to the MeisterR Zeta coilovers. I've been very very happy with these. Bolted in a JDM ITR 22mm rear sway bar at the same time

Also whacked in the system from my old 180;) and the Acura leather steering wheel

Then in went the Type-S interior & purchased a few other little goodies, like '96 ITR shit knob, clear indicators.

Then got the hankering for some DIY painting. Did the Type-S boot lip and came out well, so I cut loose on a Type-R lip too, came up sweet and just fitted it the other day. I scored some oem DC5r fog light covers too so the front end is now complete. I'll get some pics of that soon, although here she is with the boot lip

So getting pretty close to where I want it to be. I then plan to just crank up the K's on her and use it as my daily for the next little while until I buy a family car.. Then keeping it as a weekend toy and dropping in a k24 is my plan.. I'm already convincing the mrs;)

Cheers.
I'd like to mate, but you have to change the lights! They don't come cheap either

I do like the squat look of the DC5r rear lip anyway. Thanks for the comments

Looks good!! ..no offence but to save all that hassle (i.e time, money and effort) you could of just bought a dc5r or dc5s.

Yeah granted would have saved time and effort.. couldn't afford a Type-S back in the day though:( But at the end of the day I enjoy having a unique Teg that I've transformed from base. When I get the car to where I want it I'll then start obsessing with the K24 swap

If he's planning on a k24 swap then there wouldnt be much of an advantage buying an R or an S anyway.

OT: Nice car man, Type S rims set it off!

I love the drop that you've achieved!! Looks great, what kinda finger gappage do you have on the front and back?
Also, where'd you get your shocks and at what price. You can PM me this if you're not comfortable to disclose it openly :)
Great job!

all good mate. I can almost squeeze my finger above the front but the rear is well under the guard with zero scrubbage and still very comfortable. I'd say more comfortable than the stock shocks with Eibach pro kits. These things get a big thumbs up from me. They were designed for U.K roads which are apparently even sh1tier than ours hence the focus on comfort
