I see there is a lot of comment on the web about the CTV but I don't think that is what mine is - it's a Jazz Auto GLi (I'm not car savvy!). It is a 2002 model - yes one of the originals. It has recently started to jerk or bunny-hop in lower gear, starting up, going around corners, uphill, from a stop at lights etc. It's as if the auto transmission is having trouble finding the right gear. Has anyone else had this problem? It is definitely getting worse. I did switch to premium unleaded fuel on advice an it did seem to help for a while but getting worse again. Recently had service and filters cleaned and seems worse after that. Any suggestions?

What an idiot I am, I didn't actually realise what a CVT was but have now googled it. I did have the transmission fluid flushed and re-filled twice in the last 12 months, once by our local Honda dealer, then when it started jerking and shuddering again we had it flushed again by just our local mechanic. The local mechanic told us that Honda may have simply not reset the computer or some such thing. We then asked our local Honda and they said they don't have the machinery/computer to be able to reset. Surely they wouldn't flush the transmission and NOT tell us to go and get the computer reset if that was needed? Could this be it?
