vss wont go in pics inside

hey guys so i tried to put the vss back intomy gearbox today its a b16a box with a clutch type lsd the vss just wont go in straight as if one of the gears are to big i took the gear off the vss to see if it fits and its does but when i put the gear back on the vss it just doesnt go in straight

i've also tried 5 different vss 2 of them are d series and same deal

what type of lsd is it ? some lsd are vss gear specific

The TOP section of the VSS through eg/ek/dc are all compatible - but the shaft/cog is dependent on the transmission type.

You CAN swap out this shaft set in between models - easily
Done by pulling the small gold clip halfway up and simply sliding out the old and sliding in the new.

yea did some researching today and found out i need a small vss gear that comes with the lsd now the hard part working out what i got i know its a 1.5 way either cusco or ats

you do need a smaller gear on the VSS in order to make it work.

when the LSD is installed you have to change the VSS gear
