is the cover on the catalytic cover important? would it be find to drive without it on? thankyou

Do you mean the heat shield? Why do you even want to take it off. If your looking for performance, there's no quick free performance upgrade. You got to spend money to see results.

how can removing your cat heat shield being a safety reason? if anything its making it more unsafe.

giving an example bro. how does having a heat shield make it unsafe? theres a reason as to why its there.
possibly the extreme heat of the cat making dry grass catch on fire wen u park over grass? duno

you said he could be wanting to remove it for safety??

removing it is, if anything unsafer...

if things get caught under your car on it and will catch fire in no time at all, ive seen it happen.

ah yeh sorry i didnt make sense in my first post, i should of said if its like hanging off one rusted bolt or something, where it could come off and hit another car while driving.
