hey all, well recently my car shakes over speeds of 90km/h+.
but before i used to reach over 100km/h+
i had my left driveshaft changed back in Jan 2011, and now ive got a new right driveshaft change a few days ago.
but even before my right driveshaft went (had a crack or something on it) it was fine then.
i also found out, while on the hoist that both my rear rims arnt 'circle' theyre more oval, but even like that i was still able to do over 90+
anyone have any idea what it is?

Is it a shake in the steering wheel, or the whole car?
First thing to do is get the wheels balanced.

its not so much the steering wheel, but i know i got a leak in the power steering (i guess that'll add to it), but i can feel it more from the front wheels, its like the whole car is shaking.
When it 'started'
i went around a 3-lane roundabout (going straight), went in fine, came out fine, doing about 50-60km/h, went to speed to 80km/h then i felt the shake, this was a 2 weeks ago

could be a buckle in a rim or 2. I currently get the shakes after 90+ and found out i have a buckled rim.

if you can borrow some spare rims, do that first to find out if its your warped rims that are the problem. if that dosent fix it i'd be looking towards the driveshafts you replaced

If your going to replace the wheels and tyers soon, as in within a few weeks I wouldn't bother doing an alignment and balance. May as well wait till you have your new shoes and get it done then. If your not ready to buy yet then get it done

does it also happen when you drive in reverse at 90km/h?

havent tried it in reverse and i doubt i can reach speeds of 90km/h in reserve lol.
why whats your theory? if it did happen in resverse?
well i got a balance done to the 2 fronts, still the same problem, but i can push 110 fine.
NB: its like when im on the throttle, u cant feel it as much as when my foot is off it past certain speeds hmmmm?

its impossible to do 90km/h in reverse.
different brand tyres on the front probably isnt helping to work out what it is

well it feels like a wheel or 2 is loose, but theyre not. its like a earthquake going left and right if u get what i mean.
they're used to be a bit of a griding noise, due to my right driveshaft seal being cracked and the grease leaking out overtime and the metal hitting each other but not anymore due to getting a new driveshaft.
