Power is really good, but how come they used gear 4? Why do others use gear 3? Or does it give the same result, or less?

Just curious because I have no idea about it.

I have no idea why gear 4 was chosen. There is also a flat spot from around 4500rpm but the tuner said it's the B18C7's charateristics.

Like to see this on a dynamics dyno, as its a high figure considering whats been done.

How is it driving snoopy, happy with it?

i think its bc the torque in gears 1,2&3 are higher than gear 4... gear 4 gives you a 1:1 ratio which i think is typically where you want to dyno your car @ which in turn gives you more accurate hp and tq reading

so pretty much you should run the dyno in whatever gear gives you a 1:1 ratio

Snoopy i think you got very good figures

So lets say if Snoopy was in gear 3, he would have got a higher tq and kw reading? Or would it be the same?

Thanks for clearing it up man

yeah... i think so, (wheres a pro when you need one haha)

its my understanding that a gear is a tq multiplier
gear 1 is x4
gear 2 is x3
gear 3 is x2
& gear 4 should be equal

but i could be drastically wrong or faultlessly correct

Thanks for the comments guys. Car has more torque and more responsive through out the whole rev range. The transition from high cam to VTEC cam is more aggressive. Exhaust notes has changed. The CAI is of course louder. The car is still good for everyday driving. It idles like stock DC2R.

Yeah its obviously a very friendly dyno, or I should say it has been set up that way. It would be good to run it up on a dyno dynamics to compare with the bulk of them done.

That is because it isn't derived torque (dTorque) more info :
