hi guys
ive got a 92 eh sedan with a b16a2 with simple mods and i did have an apexi v-afc installed but unfortunately it was stolen out of my car not long ago and they didnt exactly be nice about it as they cut the wires just before it goes into the ecu. and as a result of that, i no longer have vtec working. i know its probably a simple thing but if anyone could help me as to why this is it would be great. and also what i can do from here to fix it up without getting a new ecu.
thanks

Its prob as simple as the wire for the vtec solenoid isn't connected to the ecu.

do you reckon if i get the wiring diagram out and work out all the wires and get the ecu hooked up properly itll work fine?
or would it be better off just getting something similar to the vafc?
thanks for the reply

invest in a multimeter. $100
will save you lotsa headache in the future.
i was able to find out which wire goes where with multimeter (continuity testing).

haha me 2!!

as for the OP - download a pinout from the net and check to make sure each wire is connected properly and sheilded right
they probably tore one of the wires out or cut one

cant beleive sum1 stole ur VAFC ... where do u live? the ghetto?

get the one that has true rms reading for proper voltage reading.
you'll need it sometimes.

and pinout from US will have different wiring color with us, but should be same in terms of function.
yeah, most likely wire was cut. either vts or vss ?

Cause interior wise there's not much else to steal and everything else is boring because I was red labelled not not ago
