Sensor on intake arm ??

I need to find out what the sensor next the breather hose on the Intake arm is as I want to get a simota whale penis and not sure where to put it?? On an ek4

I had a feeling that might've been it. If I was to put a short ram intake, how do I go about it ? short rams only come with one nozzle for a breather hose

If it only comes with one hole just drill another hole and mount the IAT with a grommet.

It probably is but if you dangled the breather hose towards back of engine who would know, some intakes come wit a mini filter you chuck onto breather pipe rather the routing it back into intake

IIRC the breather hose from the valve cover sucks the waste gases from your vavle cover back through your intake to reduce emissions.

If you drill a hole get a rubber grommet smaller then your iat so it can fit nice and snug you can get them from bunnings for like 10c

I dont think the breather hose needs a vacuum or it would be on the IM not the intake, I would think venting to atmosphere would only be bad for the enviorment not the engine but someone correct me if im wrong.

On the simota whale penis there are already 2 holes. One for the vaccum and one for the sensor. It is direct plug and play so no need to worry.
When you get the whale penis there should be a plug on the sensor bit. Just pull it out and plug in the sensor which should fit snugly into the hole!.
