Basic question, atm I've got a cheap sri and pod filter. Want to a new intake as I brought the car as is.

Only two intakes come to mind Injen cai or j racings cf whale penis.

It's on a stock standard ek4 so I'm just after sound. Tho, I want a good quality intake. Exhaust and headers may come later.

Anyone have any experience with these two intake on a b16a2. Sound wise and throttle response.

Cheers.

Fujita also makes the same intake like injen so its a cheaper alternative.
j's racing will give it a louder induction sound but performance isnt that great.

I'd go fujita as its cai and the pod is tucked away.

IMO just buy one of those 3" wide 45 degree silicone hose bends from SCA or Repco etc, a couple of hose clamps, and just extend your SRI into a CAI. You won't notice any major difference going Injen or Fujita or J's Racing or AEM etc.

I did it for my SOHC D-series:
