Hey guys,
i just took off the cover to have a look at the airbox on the stock CL9 and it looks pretty roomy, i heard some people just take out the stock filter and put a pod in that and off we go.
Did anyone do like a step by step instructions with pictures? Also i read some people sealed the filter by putting a few rubber bands. is there a more elegant solution (eg. rubber seals)?
If there is one please link. Thanks

the most elegant solution is to drop in the k&n panel filter. not a pod.

does dropping in k&N panel filter change the tone of the car? My friend was telling me (who has a CL9 sport) that all he did was change the filter, didnt do any other modifications..but his car sounds like he got the resonator removed..
Sorry yeah i forgot to specify, the whole point is that i want to hear the engine tone

pods are for wankers... lol sorry just saying, get a k&n, will improve airflow and for sound just save up a bit more and get a nice cat back system done to the car

i want to keep it stock though, friend of mine just put k&n pod filter into the existing airbox and that was enough to bring out sound of the engine. anyone else can confirm this?

Should make some noise... Remove the resenator and it will make better noise
