Hey all, I need to buy a replacement distributor for my car as it’s on the way out. Can you use one from a different model Honda or must it be for an 88 crx si model.

Cheers
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks

you can get your original distributor rebuilt for around the $300 mark,
you can only use a d16a8 dizzy, I am not sure if you can get away with using OBD1 dizzy or if your stuck with OBD0

from Sprint Auto Parts for $400
i dont know if they have sprint auto parts where you are but they should ahve somethnig similar.

In fact.. when sprint ordered it for me, they didnt expect it to be brand new.. ! hehe they said it was a re-conditioned one, but when it arrived turned out to be brand new :D
