Some wheels have both stud patterns on the same wheel, so you'll get 5x100 holes, with the 5x114.3 holes between them.

Yeah, I wouldn't use this train of thought.

If it says that it's only 5x100, then it's 5x100. Rota are more then likely going to sell a rim in a simular spec in a 5x114.3.

OP: Do some research into rims for a DC5. There is plenty of information for noobs on this forum, and the internet in general.

As per bolded section.

In some cases, this is incorrect, as the holes them selves are not designed for wheel nuts.

I am well aware that duel stud pattern wheels exist, but not all rims that have the extra holes are for wheel nuts.
more of a cosmetic thing.

If the guy is asking if a 5x100 rims fits on a DC5, he obviously hasn't researched anything, so there is no point throwing in variables that could make him purchase the wrong rims.

The Rotas site says its a 5x100 rim, so, its a 5x100 rim.

Save yourself the trouble and only get 5x114.3 otherwise headaches.

But 17x8 +35 will fit fine..

As you say, he hasn't done much research, so I imagine that extra information regarding stud patterns would be welcome. I never said that this wheel had the correct stud pattern.

I also no longer have any interest in this conversation.

Are you just being anal about wheel nuts?, my friend drives a civic with steel rims & different bases on the nut (conical or rounded and even flat) for 5 yrs and doesnt cry about it. he's wheels hasnt fallen off if u need that extra info. Ideally all lug nuts should be the same and suitable for the rims though.

No, not the nuts themselves, the holes are the issue I'm talking about.

what 45SET is being anal about is that OP shouldnt assume the rims he wants accommodate both stud patterns. Play it safe, get 5x114.3.

Thank you captain obvious. i was only referring to the nuts which, im aware, is a different topic. Anyway carrying on, you can get a dual pcd pattern stud as what Indie suggested and i dont see a big deal, it still passes RWC. But with 5x100 on a dc5....big NO
