Hey fellas,

I'm new here, I'm 18 in about a month, I just bought my first car which is a 1988 Honda CRX and this is my first post.

I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can get myself a new dipstick for the oil, or where I could find a used one. The engine is a D16A8.

I've seen some STR ones on the internet but it doesnt say how to order one or what the price is. I'm not worried about how it looks, its just that the existing one is sorta broken so I cant tell how far down to put the dipstick, and therefore cant get a proper oil reading.

I'm in cranbourne in melbourne, if anyone knows where I could get one locally or a website where I could order one that would be cool.

Also, if someone could actually post a picture of the dipstick that might help me get an idea of where the piece is actually broken and I may be able to work out approximately how far down it should go.

thanks alot.
