Hi guys,
I need to store a car for up to one year.
It will be outdoors, only partially covered, next to a building.
It will be exposed to rain, and some sun during specific hours.
What should I look out for?
Brands?
Any other necessary precautions?
Any help is greatly appreciated

ive not bought one but have done a lot of research... Covercraft make really nice ones... expensive, but are tailored to the car and they have various kinds

Just 2 tips before you live the car for long time ?
Disconnect the battery terminals.
Drain all fluids if possible/ coolant, engine oil..

Maybe get someone to check up on your car from time to time. You could also put it in storage, not sure how much that would cost though

The car will be in a friends yard.
Is it essential to drain fluids?
The car to be honest has already been sitting for a couple of years with fluids in it.
Storage isn't worth it... For a year it will be a few thousand... cheaper to just get it resprayed if the paint goes bad
