hi everyone, i try to replace my brake rotor for my Teg today
the rear rotor screws were easy jobs to undo
but the front is so tight even hammer and WD-40 are not help
just wonder what if i drill the screws, and just put the new rotor without any screws
will that be a problem? or it just fine as i had never seen any rotor screws on nissan or ford.

thanks!!!

you need one of these bad boys. impact hammer.
get it from bursons or whatever auto shop near you.
you need the rotor screw to align rotor and caliper, and to make sure rotor sits nice on hub.

if you drill it, get a new sunken screws from repco.

Don't require screws, but - better safe than sorry.

I would drill out the centre and replace the screws.

my old car didnt have screws, just relied on the wheel studs, and it was fine, and i flogged that thing so hard.

still a bad thing to do guys.. something COULD go wrong.. and it is your brakes we're talking about.. you know.. those things that keep you from driving off a cliff?
drill old bolts.. buy new ones for 2 dollars each.. 2 dollars or risk your life? hmm tough choice

The wheel would have to come loose first for there to be a problem with the brakes due to having no screw.

I run redrilled 114.3 rotors to 4x100 and the screw holes don't line up so haven't used them for over a year no issues here. Having said that, if I had the option I would just put a screw back in there as they are so cheap, why not?

Do you have the impact driver set in the right direction lol?
