Hey guys i had recent problems with a car i had bought, in which i had returned anyway putting that aside i have sourced a front cut eg6 sir, which is automatic. Now i am being supplied with the frontcut, Type R gearbox (lsd) and a spoon ecu. My question is that because it was auto will that affect the performance in anyway even if i put a type R g/b lsd in it? Will the spoon ecu connect right up and increase my performance? or would i be better off to just source a manual eg6 which is increasingly becoming rarer to find.

Thank you

Also is the front brakes of my current GL civic interchangeable with the rear? so i can have discs on front from eg6 and discs from front on GL on the back?

what car is it going into?

the B16A *might* have less agressive cams and single exhaust valve springs, but if not - you are fine. ( think this was only on 1st gen B16A's)

the power is different on the Honda website, so i guess it might be less...

Mmmm.. thanks for the info guys, can any1 confirm that the b16a2 out of the SiR is either the same or different eg cams and valve springs as tinkerbell said? i got told it was all to do with the ecu, hence im getting the spoon 1

try "Translate a Web page"

the translator works fine, you just dont know how to use it...

EDIT - maybe it is not working right now, but try again later...

yeah, sorry the point is:

?Å?‚?o—Í(PS/rpm)ƒlƒbƒg’l?– 170/7,800 155/7,300
?Å‘åƒgƒ‹ƒN(kgm/rpm)ƒlƒbƒg’l 16.0/7,300 15.6/6,500

which means:

power (PS/rpm) - 170/7800 or 155/7300
torque (kgm/rpm - 16.0/7300 or 15.6/6500

with teh second figures being for the auto versions...

is that for the b16a2 or gen 1? even so will putting the type r g/b and spoon ecu raise it past stock manual figures, hes also thinkin of getting type R cams in the not so distant future.

ok ive read that it is for SiRII but that is the power figures with a stock ECU and auto tranny, will the manual tranny and spoon ecu raise my power above the b16a manual one? Or to fix the power figures i can just get type R cams and spring valves?
