Sup,

Where do people buy brake pads from?? Particularly for EG6 calipers. Anyone know part numbers too?? I did a quick search and all i got was speculation.

Was looking at something more track orientated that street, but still work on the street. EBC yellow stuff maybe?

you might be in luck - the EG6 MIGHT share the same pad as DC2 or EK4/EM1/EK1 - i had eg6 front calipers on a EG and from what i recall there was an alternative.....you might be stuck with EG6 only item tho.

Problem is that all the above use 262mm front discs - but the caliper/pads differ very slightly in design. I believe the REAR discs all use the same pads....same as DC4 and EG5/EG4 too

as far as I know EK4/EG6/EG9/DC2/EG2 all share the same front calipers.. but cross-referencing some part numbers on my trusty RUSSIAN Honda site..

FRONT PADS:
EK4: 45022-S04-V10
EG6: 45022-SR3-V10

CALIPERS:
EK4: 45018-S04-V01 / 45019-S04-V01
EG6: 45230-SR3-V12 / 45210-SR3-V12

To be certain, you need to take one of your pads out and and compare the pad's outline with the ones shown from say, Bendix au's reference drawings. Don't trust Bendix's vehicle application listings as they are full of errors.

On the 262mm 4x100 brakes they could be bendix no DB1286, DB 1262 which are very similar pads ( EBC 891 & 890 respectively ) or the DB1292 ( EBC 21206 ) which looks different and 'usually' found in Integra DC4 and DC2 non R. The difference being the different in caliper mounting bracket designs and hence the pads have different lugs designs while the pad area remains much the same. When I got my EBC yellows some years back they only make yellows for the other pattern so I had to get my backing plates modded at my fren's brake shop while he had to extend part of the backing plate and grind away part of it to make it fit my calipers.

Once you are certain which bendix number you need for your car you can cross reference that for the other brands of pads you need. The Bendix number is the defacto standard numbers brake shops go by in Australia; so if you need the EBC equiv your local RDA/EBC dealer would source the pads for your car based on the DBxxxx number. If you order Ferodo, Pagid, Project mu pads from brake specialists such as V-sport au and Racer Industries au they would require a known fitment number before proceeding too.

If you download the full EBC UK pdf catalogue ( about 700 pages ) it will show its listing for Hondas for different markets as well as diagrams at the end of the Honda section showing outlines and measurements of the pads.

It pays to be 100% that you are ordering the right pads esp ones that takes time to arrive from overseas.

As for my take on the EBC yellows on 262mm brakes:
