RWC question

Hi guys
when you buy a car from private, if they provide rwc does that need to be under ur name? so when u change owners at vicroad they need the rwc under the new owners name is that correct?

Iam not sure in vic but in qld u dont the rwc was under there company name.. Best bet call vic roads

I think it just has to be under the same name as the transfer papers. And when they get changed under your name, the RWC applies too.

No. the rwc can be under anyones name. as long as its used within the 30days of the rwc being issued , its vaild
