Yeah you can but it wouldn't do much since the auto dulls the performance anyway.

Oh ok because i was thinking of installing it into my auto dc2 but i heard that if i get it installed, it's going to tighten my gearbox cable which will make shifting from P - R - N etc etc. alot stiffer/harder since the hose is to fat.

youre better off installing a pod/short ram if youre after sometihng sound-wise but if youre after performance like ekvtir-t said, it wouldnt do much, i wouldnt spend a lot on a mugen intake for an auto. diy a shortram/pod under $100 or buy one for around $200 or less

Yeah but i bought the intake of a family friend for $400 and i considered it valuable since they normally for $1k :)

Oh ok then, i was thinking of taking it to a mechanic and get them to do it for me because i don't wanna take the risk of snapping the cable and spending more $$ on it. Unless somebodys already done it on an automatic dc2 and can help me out lol.

Tend to go for $450-600 these days mate.

You won't snap the cable I'm sure, but since you've already bought it just install and see how it goes. You might be surprised, and not many people will be talking from experience I don't think.
