Just an ordinary Purple Civic

Hey OZHONDA fellow members.
My name is Tony, i am currently a UWS Uni student and I have been a member of OZHONDA for a while and in that period i have owned 2 cars (never had been bothered to post my car diary but today im feeling bothered). Yes, my mods aren't what u call expensive but please appreciate what i can do with my student budget.

I first got my P license in March 2009 and i was still in high school. I had no idea about JDM culture in Australia but i was definitely into cars because my dad owned FUSO (JDM) Buses and an imported sc400 soarer. Until Novemer 2009 my birthday i drove my parents Honda RB1 Odyssey. But as a 18th gift, my parents bought me a clean Honda Civic EG5 VTI. It was Auto and i did the most JEWest mods on it but it was my first pride and joy car.

Finishing HSC i soon sold the eg and looking for a manual car prefurably a black VTI-r dc2. But during my search i stumbled across a very clean resprayed Dark Amethyst Pearl coloured ek1 with logbooks and serviced by rick damelian and optional parts owned by a 50 year old. After a test drive, i paid the guy cash in hand CHA CHING.

Meet my new girlfriend ANG-78A all stock and virgin.

After the following month i bought a genuine EK4 lip at JDMyard and bought Project D's followed by Project kics Neo Chro REVO.

Couldn't bear the height so i bought some KMAC 2" springs.

From here i thought i should stop spending money but i just became more greedy.
I soon bought some Roof Racks which i sticker bombed inspired by the USDM culture and then some silver benen towhook to match my silver and purple colour scheme.

after a week later i bought a bike rack and restored my KDM fold able bikes which i also sticker bombed.

After being told "Not low enough" by alot of people and also agreeing with myself i ordered some Custom 3' KMAC Sport springs and found GAB damper adjustable shocks/KYB Excel-g, which were installed upon pickup. Also got some Spoon style cf wing.

At this point i thought i was done with the car and to use money on myself but i just became much more greedy and influence by the USDM culture.

I wanted my car to be like this one.

So i got my self a OEM hood bra + OEM Mudflaps.

I was pleased about how she looked. so i didn't spend too much on her for a while just little things like gear knobs, air fresheners and simota intake.

After becoming sick of how she looked i wanted fatter rims so i found some 25mm bolt on spacers but was too poked and un-driveable without rolling guards so i sold it within the week. (test fit)

After looking for some low offest wide rims, i stumbled across a cheap OG SAN's wrapped in RE001s which where actually Justin foxes old rims from his ED. I was surprised how similar it was to SSR reverse mesh.

Straight after i picked it up, it was installed and guard rolled.

She stayed like this for about a month and a half.

Becoming more greedy and unhappy about the height.
I decided 2 weeks ago to get some Buddyclub N+'s (best choice i have made)
I am in love with how it sits atm and handles.
Oh and also got sick of the roof racks and sold it.

I have recently got a new job! So will have more income!

Next mods in my mind are:

-Another set of rims
-Maybe cat back
-F7 LCA and Subframe
-Topfuel BC pillar bars
-Strut bars
-New plates

Not interested in Engine conversion. want to keep it clean and healthy for sale as i get fulls next march!

Yeah i dont have pics of rear recently, ill post them up when i get time to take day shots!
The roof rack was universal and the fairing was Yakima.

I like my oem mirrors, i use them to the full extent when parking. will be leaving the exterior now.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Mudflaps just give it that little bit more awesome. And I much prefer amber side indicators and oem mirrors. You know what you like, I like what you've done. I dare say if I had the dosh, we'd probably have similar cars (cept I'd probably be rolling in an eg :P). Been wanting a purple car for a while, so I imagine that'd end up happening xD

And also, think I also said this too, but those bbs' look sooo much better with dish. 100x with the 2.5inch, and now 1000x better with current lip.
