Hey all,

possibly looking at fitting a 9.5'' +40 wheel onto the rear of an s2k. Im just wondering if this will have issues in contact with the rear trailing arm/coilover?

what tires alex?

i dont think you will scrub on the inside but you will def scrub on the guard and bumper

roll it + bumper tab relocation.

although it depends on height, coilover stiffness, camber, tire size.

no it wont hit the coils, but yea u'll need roll + tab relocation.

will still need a roll and tab relocation but not a hard fit.

I think you will definantly scrub the guards. You will be pulling chunks of tyre out of your guard like i was with 8.5' +35. You will be .5mm deeper in the car then me because you have +40 offset, but your wheels will be 1/2inch out because there an inch wider. So overall about 7mm further out then my old wheels. You can get away with scrubbing by stretching tyres but then the car will feel like a trolley.

yeah but if you were running the same size tyre as he plans to, it would be more stretched on his 9.5 then your 8.5

itll fit just give it a roll, slight pull and tab relocation

it's 9.5 +40 on a rear. seriously, not that hard, just roll + tab relocation as people have been saying. So go go go!
I know a guy running 9 +35 with slight roll and not even a tab relocation on 235/40. Still goes good, only scrubs on huge bumps at high speeds.

Speaking from experience. Anythings possible, but its going to be a job.

Will it be near impossible to fit 17x9.5 +22 on the rear and 8.5 on the fronts then? Lol

pending tyre sizes, just gotta be willing to do fender work, flare and repaint!
jooboo is running 17x9.5 +22 all round!

What size tyres pablo8? That's probably the most crucial factor.

I run a 10" +43 in the rear.

Rolled fender lips, and rolled guards to fit a 275/35/18 nearly full tyre.

Tbh guys I know jack all about tyre sizes. I'd be aiming for a stretched appearance so not chunky. The car will mainly be a hardparker. I got no problem using camber kits to fit the wheels plus ill be on coils so i guess it all comes down to how much guard work is required.

Has anyone seen flush2k? The red one that was on hellaflush with polished rpf1s, that's the size wheel/tyre id be after. Anyone know his wheel specs?

I don't really know much about Tyre size etc but I want a stretched appearance.

Has anyone seen the red s2k that was on hellaflush a while back? If you Google flush2k in Google images its the red s2k with polished rpf1s anyone know the specs on his wheels? That's the type of fitment I'd chase
