hey guys my 1989 ED6 (D15b) civic is running rich coz its blowing black smoke under acceleration and i was wondering how u guys adjusted the mixtures on the dual carb engine. I heard u had to drill some cap to get to the needle valves but not sure. Im in the Footscray area Melbourne, can u guys help out. Any advice is cool. Thanks:)

oh buy the way how did u get hold of the manuals? can i download the whole civic manual book? coz there is other stuff i wanna fix on my car. Thanks alot

There isn't any carbed civic manuals on the honda site. That one I linked you to is a concerto manual. It had very similar carbs to yours. There is an ed manual around I think. have a search for honda service manuals on google.
