I just recently purchased a 2006 Accord Euro from a dealership and to my knowledge the previous owner had extended warranty on the vehicle. Warranty expires at the end of the year (called honda to make sure) which means im still entitled to honda road side assistance etc.

It also has had the Power Steering Hose Recall repaired before I purchased the car but after having ownership of the car, I could hear a squeeking noise when turning the car while stationary. Im assuming its a problem with the power steering hose again but I should be covered by this extended warranty anyway correct?

The car also has some pretty bad brake shudder when breaking at high speeds. Also one of the electrical light is blown. Do you think I will be able to get these components fixed under the warranty?

I'm going to get it checked but I won't be able to visit a Honda Dealership during the week so what do you guys reckon? Will they fix the problems free of charge or are they going to make up a general wear and tear excuse and I gotta fork out money for it. Has anyone experienced extended warranty issues?

All I want is some re-assurance haha

Website states the warranty covers:

Engine
Transmission and transaxle assembly
Suspension and steering
Fuel, cooling and brake systems
Air conditioning (if genuine Honda system)
Electricals and all electronic control units

its is probably two very simple problem. first check the power steering fluid levels. if the car is low of this fluid it will tend to churn or create a dull squeel when it is low on this fluid. check for leaks while your at it. signs include oily surroundings or area.

the electrical light probably just needs a replacement. pull back the housing and just twist and pull the wired plug responsible and check for breaks in the metal links in the light bulb. simply replace the bulb after that.

no need to waste time at a dealer imo.
