Hi guys, I have a 2din sized hole in my center console i'd like to mount gauges in but be able to hide them when I want to. Basically i'd like a lid to open and close when necessary.
The first style im looking for is one where it starts off vertical and you lift it from the bottom (pivoting from the top on a hinge) then once its horizontal slides in forwards. I've definately seen this on other oem dashs' in other cars but cant recall what from.
The second option is a garage roller door style cover which basically slides (ending up horizontal like some garage doors), not on a little roll on the top but more like rails. Ive also seen this on some cars but cant recall what again.
If anybody knows a car when I can get these from to adapt to my dash or has a better idea let me know. I could easily make a lid I could just take on/off but dont really want that style.
