He sold it about a year ago to the current owner.

Yeah previous owner use to have the number plates PARKES I'm pretty sure.

The guy now is a total loser, I tried to buy his AP2 tail lights once, and he kept agreeing to a price, then later on calls me up increasing the price.
To this day, he still calls me sometimes asking if I want to buy parts off him randomly, such as mirrors and the tail lights still.
Also, I don't think he knows much because he struggled when talking about the tail lights.

When I called silver s2k the guy sounded like a complete gronk didn't know anything but if the cars okay besides the headlights then it won't bother me lols. What else was in poor condition ryaan? Man aus is lacking clean s2ks for sale lol

I'm a bit picky with picking up a s2000. I'm focusing a lot on the kms purely for resale, I know people would prefer higher K's that's healthy bla bla, I would prefer that too but in reality for resale lower k's is better. There's a black AP2 up for sale but 124,000kms but it just seems so high for an AP2 haha. Was looking to spend like 25k but can stretch it further for an AP2 lols. Anyone had a hard time selling their s2k above 160,000kms?

Mine will be for sale for ~$24-5k in a few weeks time. Babied all its life, full log books, Honda serviced even while built motor and S/c'd. 2000 model, genuine 131000KM's. Will come with AP2 headlights, tail lights, bodykit, and possibly the AP2 bumper and lip, if not AP1 bumper and lip, OEM seats back in, OEM spoiler and original motor back in. I might even end up selling it with the black Meisters if they don't suit the new car.

I'm hoping to get about $24k with stock wheels, maybe $26K with Meisters.

Just have to take the built motor out first.... =(

I've been looking for nearly 3 months. I have my eye on one but we'll see how the inspection turns out lol but if I'm still searching I'll definitely be interested in coming to brizzy to have a look! :)

uhm im not sure about the silver s2k's engine as i didn even bother bringing my mechanic. theres a really good s2k that just recently went on sale. its done about 140 000km's but its engine was one of the healthiest ive seen. and ALOT of the s2k's on carsales/carpoint are repairable write off's. its quite depressing...

Bah got a clean ap1 ready to be bought at 21k 100,000kms roughly with full service history etc or a clean ap2 with full service history as well and about 120,000kms for 30k.

Thoughts/opinions?

I'd probably get the AP1 if its a 2002+ model, or if its got the rear glass window. Less kilometres too. Test drive both if you can.

Yeah its hard though because ones local and the other one is interstate :( the AP1 is 03 model so its good in that regard.

Probably end up going for the AP1

when i spoke to him he had no logbooks and said he bought the car from the auctions.. so one can only assume..

i dont know of its history, but!
the leather seats do speak for themselves. they look more faded and worn than what my 160k 2000 model looks like. Anyways. 3M vinyl wrapped bonnet? digusting!! lowered on king springs?! if it doesn't already it'll have CV joints on their way and a very ugly ride. mine was like that when i bought it and in the first month i replaced both axles on the rear. 3gs cost just for parts from honda. add another 500 or so to install em. not saying that's the case, but most probably is the case.
