Didn't know where to post this,
But as the title states TNT lost my engine and gearbox that I was getting sent from brisbane to Newcastle.. I have no idea how the f**k they managed to loose a 200 kg crate.. But they did, I'm just lucky I paid the extra for insurance!
I was just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone and if it has how long did it take for the claim to get approved and they give you the money?
Also did they refund the postage cost?

It was just a d16y1 to replace the one in my eg5 for the time being,
Which isn't too expensive but it is hard to find ones that had very low k's on it like this one did!
So on Monday it will be 10 days that they haven't been able to find it which is when they mark it as officially lost or stolen and I can put a claim in.

haha, good idea!!
Dont give your hopes up yet though. I once shipped an expensive guitar interstate, "Couriers Please" lost it for a bit over a week. Then all of a sudden it turned up out of no where!! it was a big box too... Wierd

I worked at a freight company before and lots of freight gets 'lost' and 'randomly found' too often.
Some truckies could pick up your item, knowing exactly what it is and drop it off at their own home or mate's place. But usually the details of who the driver is etc etc should all be recorded. So in the end, the company has to cough up the money, but let's hope they find your engine!

Yeah it would be good if it turns up
And they at least refund the freight cost for screwing me around.
If it doesn't turn up it might just give me motivation to just wait and get a b series or h22 for it
