View Full Version : Wheel size and tyre recommendations and suggestions?

heys guys i currently have a DC2R and well i have decided to leave the performance stuff for later and now i want these CCW wheels, what wheel size 16" or 17"?, what offset i should get? any suggestions

cause i would like to know how to go about getting it like that accord without having air bag suspension, pics of my car and a honda accord down below

Someone with a DC2 might chime in to say for sure but I don't think you can tuck rim on a DC2 at the rear like that and still be able to drive the car. Do you really want to wreck your car just to achieve a look in keeping with the current trend? Trends come and go but a nice DC2R will always be something special.

To answer your question though, I think a 16x9 or so with an offset in the teens and a 225/40 or 215/40 and then pull the guards and add camber until it tucks would get the look you are looking for. Talk to CCW though there are guys there that know a bit about fitment on Hondas I am betting as there have been a few DC2s in that style done in the US on CCW classics. Obviously I have to mention that a wheel setup like that is illegal and potentially dangerous.

you will need to chop a hole in your front strut towers to get that low at the front - for room for the UCA otherwise it bashes on the strut tower.

^^ lukeys car is low as fuk but not that low....lowest is probs as low as lukeys or maybe 1/4 inch further in the rear!
