hey guys
im considering changing my light bumbs from the standard crap in my dc2

the low beam is hb4 - 12v 51w
high beam is hb3 - 12v 60w

my question is to change the low beam i can only find some 12v 55w bulbs

would this be okay?

considering the phillips vision crystal or diamond vision

if wattage is a issue
what should i use to get a betta lighting then the tinge yellow stock

wattage shouldnt be an issue.

stock color is 3200k i believe. so if u dnt want it to be stock color go for 5000k.. but imo phillips vision crystal and diamond vision are shit
cant see any more then stock

12v55w is ok.

Don't get diamond vision, that produces a lot less light than stock. Go for crystal visions if u want a whiter appearance..

3200k is a deep yellow, not stock - i think stock is around 3800-4000k.

probably a bit less, but they're definitely not 3200 - 3200 is almost as deep as your indicators

Here are some charts that may help you, the second of which i trust more - 4300 is supposed to be quite close to pure white.. but it's definitely not OEM colour

nahh cant be!
when i had my dc4 my standards were yellowish but when i bought phillips crystal vision that are 4300k they seemed whiter. so i think stock would have to be like 3800-4000max!

Stock is around 3500K, this should give you some pretty good improvements.

in the last color chart, 4.3k, 6k, 8k all look the same.

Agreed. Highly inaccurate...

12K should look like the 15K one. Purple...

is it common to have untidy/non-uniform tint on light bulb like this? seems like it was masked with some tape and created this jagged lines as they rip the tape off after tint process. mayb i got a fake set. fleabay ftw

I don't think I've seen that before it doesn't look right! I would probably contact the seller
