Hi. Yeh i have the same problem. Its either 2 things from my experience.

1. Could be your suspension bushings. (My whole car squeeks wen i go over bumps) :D

OR

2. From my researching awhile ago i think it had something to do with metal loop on yur hatch door that locks it to the car. People in the US used electrical tape and wraped it around the |_| <--- U shaped lock. It's a quick fix and does the trick.

Good luck.

True that!
what happen with mine is that the Rear Swaybar war rubing with the rear control arms, coz my car being so low they were making contact but I have a adjustable Swaybar so all I did is adjusted the tie rods that attaches the sawaybar to the control arms! should have heard it, sounded like two people were going at it in the back of my car everytime I went over a bump! LOL

If you go to any mechanic or a suspension place they will be able to tell you whats up with the squeak!

Good luck! :D

ever since those heavy rains in melbourne 3 weeks ago, my suspension has been creaking and giving me a headache. Is there anything you reccomend in a sort of all purpose spray that can lube up must of the joints again?

You can take the whole strut out of the car and give the bolt hole in the lower control arm/s a lube with some high temp bearing grease, pretty much try to lube things that have constant movement, if you're on a budget and need new bushes and can't aford them just yet? just give the original ones a bit of a grease with the high temp stuff just so you can get rid of that anoying squeaking!

You may say why High temp bearing grease??? coz if you have ever used the stuff it is very very thick, will last even if the car gets driven in the rain (winter) and will keep the parts lubed up for ages too!
you can find the stuff at any local autobarn or any spare parts store, I also recomend using the same stuff to lube up the O ring on your oil filter at every service, next time you wanna change the oil filter you will see how painless of a task it will really be!

Good luck!

They are very very but very hard to find, thats if you're looking for Nolathane bushes, but if you buy OEM ones you can simply go to Honda and purchase a new set but be ready to pay big $$$$, the only other place I have found them would have to be on E-Bay Motors (US Site) where they have the whole kit for the front and rear bushes! but it would take a while for shiping but worth the wait, I have contemplated getting my dirty hands on a full kit but you have to have a credit card and registered on the site to purchase, the good thing is that most of the prices are Buy It Now! so you dont have to waste time on biding.

BTW: Let me know what you wanna do?

how come they are so hard to find? n when u say big bucks for d OEM ones.. how much we looking at? LOL

coz my monitary priority list is like this

1. CAR
2. GIRLFRIEND
3. Whatever is left is mine

so either way my car gets preference :)

i knew it was the hatch loop! Mine does the same but the electrical tape has ripped after a month so i have to replace it :P

Another solution for the future which might work is if u take the 2 screws on the hatch hook off.. there is a metal spacer thingy underneath. remove that and rescrew the hook back on. it makes the hatch a hell of a lot harder to close but i think it kind of does the trick.

Im thinking that it has something to do with the lock rubbing against another metal, so taping it wuld stop that for a while or even removing the metal spacer wuld lock the hatch harder.. but maybe we can sum sort of grease or lub will stop it. ill probably be too slack to try it. BUT if some decides to and it works.. remember to give us feedback.

Thats my 2 cents for now.
Good luck.

lmao @ squeeky Ls'z. That's so typical of Ls'z. Every Ls ive been in squeeks, including mine! I know my squeeks r from the swaybar, however SOME of the squeeks stopped when i removed some of the tools from around the spare wheel. Once i got so pissed i WD40'd everything the thin red nozzle would reach - it helped fpr a few days. But yea like FR33K said u get used to it after a while.
