VIN and Colour Code

Hey guys,

Does anybody know about colour code location? and how is suppose to look like.

Also the VIN is quite complicated to decrypt. Google it last night but apparently with those new ones nothing match any explanation on the net.

The colour code should be on the build plate.

What did you want to learn from the vin?

I'll get to VIN later... let's take colour code first. I have as follow:

BUILD DATE SEP'11 GE8
TG0 C QB6 GY-27M C

What is " TG0 "
What is " C "
What is " QB6 "
What is " GY-27M "
What is " GE8 "

normally the build plate has it written on it what each one is.

Normally it will have:
Transmission code
Colour
Model code
interior trim colour code (seat colour and trim material etc)


The GE8 is the model. So you have a honda jazz GE8

the TG0, C, and QB6 will relate to the colour, trans code and interior trim
