How would i go about converting auto choke to manual choke (D15b4)

Hey, anyone know of any kits or DIY for this? Choke is stuffing up causing it to run rich, so want to try make it manual.

you can buy a manual choke conversion kit from repco. its like, 35 bucks or something. has the cable, a mount point, and all the hardware to mount it to the carby itself.

Is it an off the shelf part? or do i need to go to the counter and get a specific one for my carbs/engine?
