best bang for buck is the kyb excel-g gas struts!
had them with stiff lowering springs on my old dc4 and it handled good

OEM shocks for King Springs. If you want good shocks then get some better springs IMO.

kyb excel g are good replacement for oem shocks and also has the dual tube inside them to handle being low or standard height

But why would you buy new shocks to mate to king springs, is my point? If you're buying new shocks, get something to suit the spring. I don't think king springs justify new shocks.

I'm running em1 shockers with super lows on my ek1 does the job.

You don't need to get new shockers to match ur lows. It's not even that low. Waste of money. You could spend the 500$ on shouting your mates 15 rounds of beer

My stock shocks are ****ed so I need to buy new one without spending too much as i will be selling the car soon, the reason why im going for king springs is that they are cheap and handles no too bad.

then buy some decent condition second hand hand shocks from someone.

And why bother installing springs and shocks if youre just going to sell it?

waste of time and money.

aftermarket shockers 400?
kings - 250?
install - 200? maybe more cause you gotta put the springs on the shcokers. hard job. hate it.

Or you could get some 2nd stock shockers 100$ and install yourself for free....profit

if your after a good shock spring combo may i suggest the koni yellows and eibach springs. should be able to pick them up second hand for about 600ish but then an extra 300 and you can get second hand coilovers

Pedders, tokicos, kyb, skunk2 for cheaps. Or get another set of OEM second hand for like $50-100. If you wanna spend a bit more then konis.

some suspension you can actually put brand new inserts into them..
for example a mate of mine has a wrx and he just replaced the inners of his oem shocks with koni inserts and a fraction of the price. but tbh thats cheaping out imo

if your wanting to put new shocks in, i give a +1 to the kyb excel-g. i don't waste my time with second hand shocks as just because they look good when you buy them doesn't mean they are good. pressure washers work wonders and if you do get a s**t set of 2nd hand shocks from a wrecker, the amount of time you waste going backwards and forwards, for a little extra coin to begin with you can have piece of mind by putting brand new shocks in. remember when it comes to cars, if you want to go cheap cheap, you will get half ass results

Skunk2 shocks are great for an upgrade had them ran fantastically on eibach springs pro-kit would go better with sportsline
