B Series Cam

This is bit of a noobie question I guess.

How can you tell the difference between cams. Eg Type R, Vtir, Toda B, Toda C. I've had a close look at each one of these cames and i really cant tell the difference between them. I never had the chance to put them together to compare but i cant see nething different. I guess comming from a noob at this thing I don't know what im looking for. I would much appreciate it if you can explain how to identify the difference and picture diagram would be nice too.

pretty sure @ the end of the cam shaft will have the branding + model number


then again my toda fly only got toda sticker... and i ripped it off to put on my airbox lol... so yeah if buying used... dunno if it'll come with any indication

the lobes will be different sizes in most cases. very slight diferences causeing different lift and duration properties to each valve.

ITR and CTR cams have distinctive notch/ring at the end of the cam. I'll see if I can dig out a few pics

Couldn't find the one for the ITR, but I think from memory it has 2 notches. hondar posted up a pic somewhere awhile ago.
