Painting Door Handles and Mirrors?

Hey
I've seen alot of people writing up DIY's for painting side door mounds and skirts and lips but i haven't been able to find anything on painting the Side Mirrors Or the door handles and i seen alot of Ek with the mirrors and side trims painted on the streets. I got something planned out for painting the side mirrors but i have no idea how to do the door handles. I was thinking of masking it and then just sanding what ever i can on the handle and primmer and sand again and painting as much as i can it. If anyone has a better way and don't mind sharing it with us i would really appreciate it.

Best way is to seriously take it out.
take off the door panel on the inside and you should be able to take out the door handle with some clips inside the door.

then your usual sanding and painting process.
