u can find turbo kits for around 1500-2500.
if you arent installing it yourself, save up another 2000.

ask Weq, he's got a greddy turbo setup in his civic. He'd be able to give you a rough estimate on how much you'd be spending

I'd budget $4k. kits are never as "bolt on" as you think.

Avo in mebourne I think charge $1300-$1400 for installation only on their stage 2 kits.

i totally agree with ya there...i own a gsi with a b18b - all the places that ive been to for a turbo kit have quoted me about 4-5K.
installs will prob set ya back bout another 2K...
check this out...i was quoted over 10K for a complete trust turbo kit install with greddy cooler running 7psi on stock internals...

$2000 seems a bit much unless it includes tuning. There is a bit of work involved but if it is a true bolt on kit everything should be there and it should be straight forward. Have a good look at it as you may find you can do alot of it yourself. Dont forget about exhaust, fuel system and driveline stress too as these can KILL a budget. Hope this helps.

Not sure about tuning?

what does that mean? ? "a bit much unless" ??

anyhow...AVO will only install and tune there own products. they wont install or tune any outcasts.
its about 6700$ for a stage 1 kit boosting 8psi reliably with a full 2.5inch custom exhaust system from the dump pipe to the muffler.

Have they changed prices? The stage 2 kit last year was just over $6K. Or are you including the whole exhaust as the stage 1/2 kit only goes to your cat?

stage 1 kit was $4800
full exhaust $900
tuning anothe $1000

that was done last year around october-ish

stage 2kit was $5600 which inc. trade in old ecu piggy back for a link ecu/fuel pump/fuel rail with injectors

im pretty sure thats the price its always been for quite some time now. did u buy urs direct from avo in melb?

I got my Stage 2 through my Mechanic direct from Avo. Thought it was just over $6k for the kit, might be wrong though.

jeez guys, you can halve that price.

if you do some research to find out how a turbo kit works ,whats involved with installation and also what parts are required, you just have to be patient and buy parts when you see them for cheap price.

buying it at a cheap price isnt easy.. it takes time and patience but you need to be fast when you see a sale.
