Hand brake light

Hey guys,

I got another question. My hand brake light keeps lighting up while im driving. It seems to only light up when im at high revs ie when I need to change gears and after I change gears the light goes off. Is this a normal thing on the EK4. Or it could of been modify on my EK4 or there could be something wrong with my hand brake light......

Yeah........the handbrake light doubles as warning for low brake fluid. Check your fluid level.

A lot of cars have it.........have a close look at the light again, and you will see 2 symbols :)

Thanks guys. I knew my brake fluid was low but I did not know that was the warning...
With brake fluid can just add it or do I have to drain it out first then add it in.....

You can just add to it, but I wouldn't really want to be mixing dot 3 fluid with dot 4, nor brands. If you know what was in there, then get some more and add it in. Otherwise, I think the best and safest option would be to drain it all and start again.

I have added the fluid and the light does not come on anymore... Thanks guys
