Am I running a JDM or AUDM Cat Converter?

Hey Guys,

I purchased my audm dc2r with t1r headers/extractors and a Fujitsubo RM01A cat back.
My cat converter is not doing its function and my car is now smelling like rotten eggs..

Now my question is before I buy a new one.. If im running JDM branded headers and a JDM branded catback does that mean my cat converter is also the JDM one? (shorter length) or could I still be running an AUDM one? (longer length)

well that kinda depends if the catback has been modded to fit for longer cat?
afaik jdm ones are abt 30cm with 2,5" collector.

how long/big is the original cat?

So your saying that a JDM cat converter is 30cm and a AUDM is longer?

jdm cat is shorter, audm is longer.
i read it on one of 90lan's post.

if i was you, i would measure my broken cat so i know what i have.

hopefully your cat is shorter (jdm cat) otherwise your exhaust has been chopped :(

Yep as said, as long as your catback has not been modified, you need a jdm cat. Unless there have been modifications, that is probably what you are running now.

Jdm cat is definitely shorter than the adm cat. I have one here I can measure for length if you are interested. Jdm cat also has a 2.5" collector whereas on the adm cat this is much smaller.

So i finally got a chance to have a look at the cat and yes its a jdm cat. much shorter and not modified.
