i have recent have had my timing belt done and put a new knok sensor in sine then my car is a slug till 5500 and it is now over heating both cams are engaging the car is idling good but it takes 10 seconds to get to 30km any ideas plz need help asap its not throwing the engine light it was till i change the sensor now its off

its not a troll thread im 25 my mate write the post he had oil all over his hands we have been working on the car and i forgot that we just put
on a injen cai and it sounds like its sucking to much air

maybe the mechanics put the belt on with wrong engine timing.
set the engine to top dead center and check to see if all the markings line up.

yeah man, if one of the cam gears is just one tooth out of alignment it could quite easily cause this kind of issue.

If your car isn't throwing any CEL's, your timing is definitely out.

thanks i will talk to the work shop should i ask them to fix there stuff up or pay again

we have had the dizzy off recently when the timing belt went could it be possible the shop put the timing belt right and the dizzy is just out

no one here has more idea of what has happened to your car than you.

didn't da9 advised you to check markings on cam gear? if you did, you wouldn't be asking that question.

Even if belt is on correctly and the dizzy is out, the timing is still out..
