After market head unit - dash control buttons

Hey guys I've just bough an 02 s2k and want to put in an after market head unit but was wondering whether the dash controls would still work with the new head unit

While we are on this topic, I have had a look at the compatability list on this site: http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/wired_compatibility.htm but There are so many models, and I was wondering if anyone here has actually installed a bluetooth head unit which is capable of streaming music via an iphone over bluetooth?

Sure have. Pioneer head unit with bluetooth capability (DHT6100BT or something). Streams music straight off the iPhone through BT and can use the head unit controls (or dash controls) to skip forward/back tracks too.
