Hi guyz,
ive got a 92 civic Si EG sedan n the aircon doesnt work wen i turn the aircon on :( . Its dead n i went 2 chek it out n they go the compressor has leaks so its best if i buy a new compressor
Does anybody know of some places in sydney i can get a new compressor?
And also would Hanny's in smithfield know anythin about fixing or replacing compressors or are they just a place 2 service hondas

thanx

i think new compressors are about 500 to 600 bucks.... then you have to get it regassed, so will prolly end up costing you just under a grand :) ?

it happens 2 me ages ago....i spend almost $400 to get all things fixed re-gas - if i were u, get rid of it coz it adds up weight 2 ur ride & later u dnt have 2 worry bout ur air-con...but in summertime!...... ull need it hehehe but its up2 u dood :)

I'd sacrifice the weight and costs for air-con! can't hack the heat in summer.. no way! LOL

we'll go this saturday Mike and check out some places.

Just a tip for you others. Make sure you run your AC at least once a week to lubricate the seals
