Axelback exhaust tip from dc2 fit on eg?

Hey guys, will an axelback cannon off a dc2r fit an eg hatch? Like are all the hinges/flange the same?

Flange - yes (as long as it was on standard piping)
Hangers - no

Getting a shop to put hangers would cost you like $10.

Yep can confirm this. Had some guys come over to try on a DC axleback on his EG hatch. Flange matches up, but the muffler itself will stick out about 1-2inches past the bumper. Best bet would be just cut the axleback piping, shorten and reweld. Easy home job if you have a welder and a saw. Or a 10 minute job at exhaust shop.

yeah need to do some slight mods. exhuast shops these days do pretty good deals

Yeah its like 2 inches too long bros. need to cut and reweld. easy job for a workshop.

also be careful that some of the dc2 mufflers are quiet big and will stick out of bar 2inch or so regardless of how u modify unless u cut the tip itself all off.
