Hey guys

I have an EG hatch with stock exhaust system with a possible leaking mid-resonator. So I was planning on replacing the mid-pipe with a DC2R item

I need to confirm if a DC2R (AUDM) B-pipe will be a direct replacement with my EG B-pipe?

So will a DC2R B-pipe bolt to a stock EG axleback on an EG hatch chassis?

I've searched and found many different answers...

This thread says DC2 midpipe is shorter (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?156061-Eg-exhaust-on-DC2r)

This thread says longer (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?2412-ITR-EXHAUST-ON-EG-D16)

This says midpipe will fit (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?100592-dc2r-exhaust-system-into-an-eg)

I know the dc2 axleback/muffler is too long but not concerned about that because I'll be using my EG hatch muffler

We need to get this straight once and for all!

Midpipe will fit but longer or shorter depends on what CAT you fit on the header end.

Ok, so what CAT do I need to make an AUDM ITR B-pipe fit straight on?

Yeh that pic doesn't make sense because JDM b-pipes (inc. aftermarket) should be longer to compensate for the shorter JDM cat (30cm)

If anyone has a stock DC2R B-pipe please measure it for me, lengthwise

I think I may have just found the answer waddduppppp

Thanks to Civic-EG.com I found someones build thread comparing an EG5 and Type-R midpipe. Check out the thread here http://www.civic-eg.com/viewtopic.php?t=3147&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=165

I know its USDM spec but I'm fairly sure AU has the same length

Yeah you need to use the same length cat the ITR uses. The short one 305mm long or use a test pipe.
