reguardless where he is from, most of the kits come out of america anyway.

whats your budget?

what do you want from the kit power wise?

have you concidered turbo?

do some shopping and research first :)

Such a vague question.

I have a supercharged Euro so let me give you an idea of costs for a start.

Comptech SC kit
Bought from USA
$4100 Au + $700 freight/customs.

Engine management
Hondata K-pro + dual ecu loom
$500 for loom,
$250 for oem RSX ecu,
$1300 for K-pro'ing of RSX ecu

Intake, Header, Exhaust, VTC
Gruppe M intake $1000
Toda header $2000
Fujitsubo exh $1500
Toda 40deg VTC $350

Clutch
Toda clutch + fly $1000

Tuning
Around $1000

That's $13700 already. You haven't even gotten to the other items such as after-cooler, Fuel injectors/rail/reg or Meth injection yet.
They are another $1500 each
So that's $18200.

Now if your not doing the labour yourself put another $5000 easily on top.

Just FYI.

That's if you’re insane enough to pay top dollar on labour and pay retail prices on all parts!

Seriously man, that's the absolute worst case scenario

SC kit
Rotrex supercharger 3k right here off these forums (more for a/c friendly)

Engine management
Haltech Platimum Pro plug & play stand alone
TODA Package deal, includes tuning and installation (EP3 /DC5) not 100% on the Euro
$2500

Intake, Header, Exhaust, VTC
injen $500
KidRacer header $350 delivered
Custom 2.5" $1000
Toda 40deg VTC $350 (not sure this is needed)

Clutch
Sports organic clutch $700-800 including install (don't touch the fly wheel)

eBay intercooler piping and a dremel $300 haha
Just Jap intercooler $150-200

I do my own work so I can't really comment on the labour cost but 5k seems crazy high

You mention tuning cost 500? Gee i wouldnt want that tune on my car. After all those mods and money spent, id spend more than 500 for a top tune as its the most important thing my friend.
Ive had many tunes done to my previous cars and not one cost 500. More like 800+ as you want to make sure its 1 safe 2 performs 3 is fuel efficient, so it doesnt fart and blow smoke all day long.

So your saying Adrian (TODA) can't tune and your basing that assumption on cost?.

Personally I think a good or bad tune is exactly that good or bad and the cost is secondary!

Adrian called me today and politely reminded me that the $500 for tuning is part of TODA’s package deals on Haltech ECU’s

Woops! !sorry about that :(

TODA's normal rates around $800
