CL9 + nav controllable Ipod?

I have had a quick search, but having just purchased a CL9 with navigation, I wanted to get Ipod control through the touch-screen. Is this possible? i.e. so you can navigate, on the screen, through artists, albums, songs, playlists, etc - similiar to the touch screens on the Audi and VW's?

Yeh mate I have and from what I can establish the xcarlink doesn't seem to be able to do what I am after. I understand that it won't list tracks, artists, etc on the screen? Is my understanding wrong?
