We need to know what engine you have first.
Either take a photo of the engine or find the engine model stamped here and tell us
http://asia.vtec.net/topics/engcode1.jpg

I have a feeling the engine you have is a D series which means it wont fit,you need to check to be sure :)

No the headers you linked are for B series engines

You have a ZC engine so ideally you need ZC headers but you can use D series headers but the exhaust ports are slightly off

tharpie_4dr

ok thanks , any idea where id get some decent ones for ZC?

ebay would be your best bet. rarely see any d-series gear on here.

that is an excellent find!
you'd most probably need a set of D series headers or if you are running a ZC the yes that
if you did also want an exhaust set up you'd probably need to get a custom one if you don't want to purchase interstate, pretty sure DC2/4 exhaust system are different lengths compared to you car

but wow.. amazing :)

I own a DB6 here in Sydney, 99 model

http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af2/David_Vtec/307770_2609931771364_1347074257_2964188_1280721625 _n.jpg

D-series in japan are called ZC instead. So find any sort of D-series headers on the market and it should fit on fine man

EKVTIR-T

Yeah but apparently the exhaust ports are slightly off so they arent identical

If its a zc motor, it would be a single cammer Vtec (D16zc) its similar to our d16y1 found in the civic vti (eg), which means you will need d16 headers lol, those in the ad wont fit because they are for a B18c motor and not a D16, 2 very different motors.....

One thing i wont know for sure is if the civic D-series headers will clear the bottom end or not and weather it will extend far enough to the cat or not, as the teggy and eg/ek are different chassis to begin with.

But thats as far as i know... Im sure someone with DC2 knowledge can help out more

its a D series, so get d series headers. if the headers dont bolt up to your exhaust a exhaust shop should be able to fix it but they should bolt up to your exhaust.

get generic stainless headers for a D16y1 or D16z6

the bolt pattern will fit fine - all D series bolt patterns are the same - the only problems are:
1. the exhaust ports on the DOHC ZC engines (D16a8 over here) are a bit larger than the SOHC
so you need to port match the headers - fairly simple
2. the downpipe may not clear the sump/gearbox area because the ZC engines are slightly different to the SOHC ones
3. the chassis may be a bit longer than the generic civic - so you will probably have to get an exhaust shop to extend/shorten the header downpipe to match up with your cat
